Amethyst Collection

This quartz crystal isn’t very rare, and it doesn’t change colors or come in a variety of shades like others do, but what elevates this gemstone is its molecular structure.

Amethyst is arguably the most important mineral in geology and overall studies of the Earth. The molecular structure of this purple quartz holds a tremendous amount of information about Earth’s history. Additionally, the fact that this gemstone is so plentiful and found in so many different places is what makes it so valuable.

No common mineral gives us more information about more places and times in history than February’s birthstone, Amethyst. We think that’s pretty special.
